Remember those halcyon days when nothing really mattered much beyond jumping in on the right skip or scoring an old sheet for your den? When pure joy was sitting for hours making daisy chains and no other thought fleeted through your mind? Or sitting listening to a story, as it transported you between the pages - when was the last time you did that?
Children have the key to joy. They live in a meditative state of joy - completely open to the gifts and wonders of the universe. We could learn a lot from following their lead. The joy and wonder of childhood drifts away from us as we 'learn to be a grown up'. How much better would this world be if we could retain that childlike joy and wonder!
Well, here is an opportunity to reclaim it.
One of the best ways to bring joy into our lives is to get back in touch with our inner child. To reclaim, or possibly even meet for the first time, that part of us that can simply be playful and creative with nothing 'better' to do for no other reason than it's so much fun. What could be more important than nourishing our soul with simplistic joy?
The day is designed to be therapeutic through reconnecting with your inner child and recreating the joys of being at play.
The event takes place in a beautiful meadow in Heath Charnock overlooking the West Pennine Moors and Anglezarke. 10 minutes drive from Chorley and 5 mins drive from Adlington
